The Exam Proctoring Center (EPC) will be proctoring in-person exams for the Fall semester.
To schedule an exam in the EPC for your In-Person classes:
Once you have sent out your accommodation notifications to your instructors, it is your responsibility to speak with each instructor well in advance of your exams to determine where you will be taking them - either with faculty in the department or in the Disability Services Exam Proctoring Center (EPC).
If you determine you will take an exam through the EPC, your exam appointment request MUST be submitted at least 5 business-days in advance of the exam.
Monday: 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Mt. Ida students, please put Mt. Ida in the "comments" field.
Students testing in the EPC are required to schedule exams at the same, or an overlapping, time that the rest of the class is taking the exam.
Click the “Schedule a test” button above to begin.
For On-Line or Fully-Remote courses:
1. Check in with each professor to verify they received your accommodation notification and discuss how your course-specific needs will be implemented.
2. Instructors are able to adjust remote exam time limits to reflect extended time accommodation for you. Moodle, Canvas and Blackboard have features that allow instructors to program in your additional time for hosted exams and instructors can work with you to implement any other necessary measures.
3. Communicate regularly with your instructors; make sure you are checking email, Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard and/or other course communication platforms regularly.
4. Set up a low-distraction workspace for yourself. This is an important accommodation measure that only you can put in place as you work remotely.
5. Please be sure to note when you book your exam, if this is a remote exam.
